This On Demand Professional Development pod provides targeted support for teachers who are involved in raising participation in mathematics in schools and beyond.
The course comprises three ‘pods’:
- Encouraging girls’ participation
- Offering Further Mathematics
- Higher education and admissions tests
In each pod, teachers will experience a variety of content, including:
- short videos explaining the ideas behind the topic
- stimulus materials
- triggers for reflection and suggestions for further study.
We encourage you to interact and collaborate with others studying the same material via the online forums. An expert tutor monitors the forums and responds to queries. An expert tutor will be monitoring the forums and will respond to queries.
The course offers total flexibility regarding when teachers can access the materials, day or night, over a period of up to one year. You will be able to track your progress within the course and see when you have completed a section or the full pod.
