If so, our Teaching A level Mathematics (TAM) course is perfect for you, and you can now apply to be part of the 2025-26 cohort. Part of our extended course range, the TAM course will support you in developing your teaching skills and subject knowledge.
The course includes six study days throughout the academic year, covering key concepts in A level maths, pedagogical strategies, and classroom reflections. You will also receive a formative lesson observation conducted by one of MEI’s maths specialists and gain access to high-quality teaching and learning resources via MEI’s Integral Learning Platform.
You can choose from a choice of venues:
Birmingham: The Priority Rooms – starting 26 September
Bristol: The Bristol – starting 22 September
London: NCVO – starting 29 September
London: LMS – starting 30 September
Manchester: The Studio – starting 1 October
York: STEM Centre – starting 3 October
Who can apply?
Teaching A level Mathematics (TAM) is only open for applications to teachers of A level maths in state-funded schools or colleges and is free to attend.
The course will leave you with renewed confidence in the concepts of AS/A level Mathematics and the ability to deliver engaging maths lessons that are relevant to students.
