Conference Overview
Our Further Mathematics Conferences are designed to equip you with the strategies needed to deliver engaging lessons to your students. You’ll discover innovative techniques to captivate your students while enhancing your own understanding of key concepts. Additionally, you’ll explore strategies to support students taking university admissions assessments.
These one-day conferences offer a dynamic day packed with a variety of sessions tailored to teachers of all experience levels. Whether you’re joining us for the first time or returning, every year brings something new, so feel free to sign up again if you’ve already joined us in the past.
Conference Content
The conference will cover a range of topics, including sessions on pure maths, mechanics, statistics, and discrete maths. Some of our sessions will also provide insight on how to prepare students for their university admissions assessments in the autumn or spring term.
You’ll get the opportunity to choose from various sessions covering topics such as:
- the vector product
- sequences and series
- dynamic geometry
- oscillations and damping
- using Desmos to create statistical visualisations
Ultimately, you’ll walk away with fresh ideas, ready to inspire your students and elevate your teaching.
