Course Overview

Throughout the course, you’ll gain a clear understanding of how best to support your students in making a successful transition to undergraduate study. You’ll explore the mathematical requirements of a variety of degree schemes and receive guidance on how to widen the student experience of mathematics at your institution.

Whether you’re a maths teacher or head of sixth form, if you want to explore strategies for supporting your students’ transition to higher education, this is the course for you! 

Course Structure

The course consists of two online sessions, each taking place after school hours, from 15:30 to 18:00. The second session is recommended for maths teachers only. It will focus specifically on preparing students for university admissions assessments such as STEP, AEA, MAT, and the TMUA.
