Do you have students who have applied to study Mathematics at the University of Oxford or the University of Cambridge? Our Oxford and Cambridge University Mathematics Interview Practice sessions are now open for applications, providing the perfect opportunity for students to refine their interview skills.
Course Structure
We designed these interview practice sessions in partnership with Magdalen College School, Oxford. The sessions are specifically for students preparing for Mathematics interviews at either the University of Cambridge or the University of Oxford. The course offers practical, targeted interview preparation, giving students the chance to engage with challenging mathematical problems in an interview-style setting.
Throughout these sessions, students will receive expert guidance on how to approach complex interview questions. They’ll also learn how to articulate their problem-solving process clearly and confidently. These are key skills that Oxbridge interviewers will be looking for. The aim of this course is to help students feel more comfortable with the interview format and to improve their ability to think on their feet.
Who Can Apply?
These sessions are open to any students from state-funded schools in England. Students from other state-funded UK schools are welcome to apply too. However, due to our funding arrangements, they may be placed on a waiting list. These practice sessions are designed to support a wide range of students, regardless of their previous interview experience.
How To Apply?
Students should apply on behalf of themselves for these interview practice sessions. With limited availability, we recommend early application to secure a spot. When applying, students will need to register for an MEI account using their current school/college address and their pupil email address. Applications made using personal details will not be eligible.
Sessions will be held online and begin on 18 November 2024. Don’t miss out on this fantastic opportunity; apply below!
