The Desmos Graphing Calculator is a free tool that can be used on laptops, tablets and phones.
In 2024, the AMSP hosted a series of webinars exploring how the effective use of Desmos can help to deepen students’ understanding of topics in GCSE and A level Mathematics.
The webinars will support you in developing your use of the Desmos graphing calculator or the Desmos geometry tool. These are very easy-to-use tools that will help you to integrate the use of technology into both your GCSE and A level mathematics lessons.
Every webinar will include graphing calculator/geometry skills and a discussion of how this will help students develop their understanding of the chosen topic.

Who will benefit from watching these webinars?
The webinars are ideal for all teachers of GCSE or A level Mathematics who want to make greater use of technology in their teaching. Most of the webinars will explore how to use Desmos for this topic at both GCSE and A level Mathematics; however, some of the webinars will be for topics that are only on GCSE or A level.
No previous knowledge of Desmos is needed.
